The Last Straw with LeBron James

I am a LeBron James fan. I have always been a fan since his first game in the NBA in Cleveland. I have always been an anti Ohio fan but I supported the team solely for James.

In the good times and bad he has always been my favorite player. I have friends who love Kobe. I cannot stand Kobe. I have always said LeBron was better and used the numbers to support him.

I wanted him to stay in Cleveland during the “decision”. I just thought he started something there he should finish what he started and bring to Cleveland what he promised. Although I hate the way he went about the decision I still fully supported him.

Everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. He also decided to go to my second favorite team the Miami Heat. If he would have went anywhere else other than Cleveland or Miami I probably would not have paid much attention to him anymore.

I fully rooted LeBron all season and in the playoffs. Unlike everyone else in the universe I wanted the Heat to demolish the Mavericks in the finals. They fell short.

After that game was the final straw. It wasn’t that the Heat lost or LeBron choked in the clutch. It was what LeBron said. “The Greater Man upstairs know when it’s my time. Right now isn’t the time.”

Are you serious LeBron? You are blaming God for your loss. How dare you!

That is the lowest of lows. LeBron has hit rock bottom. What was he thinking? He chocked in the clutch each game they loss. LeBron, Wade, Bosh decide to go build a mega team and because they fail short he blamed God for it?

This is very offensive to me and many people. I am a true born again Christian. Now I won’t get into a debate about that in this article, it isn’t the place, but please if you have any questions about God or anything of that nature leave a comment, email me, or hit me up on twitter.

LeBron why don’t you try something like “We could not get it done; I take full responsibility for it. I choked when it mattered the most. We will get it done next year.”

That is what a leader would say. That’s what a top 5 player in the NBA would say. He would not blame God for his loss. He would blame himself.

I have put up with all of “King James” crap. I have put up with the arrogance, the selfishness, his image first persona instead of team first.

This is the last straw for me with LeBron. I am moving on. I am now rooting for LeBron to fail, not rooting for him to succeed.

Who is my new favorite player you might ask? The best player in the league in my opinion, Kevin Durant. He is everything you want in an NBA player. He can do it all and is getting better. He will achieve his first NBA Championship before LeBron ever sniffs his.

If only I realized sooner how stupid I was to be a fan of LeBron for so long. We all make mistakes, I have learned mine.

  1. Durant out of the best players in the league (Kobe, Howard, Rose, Lebron, Wade, etc) has the worst stats in the 4th quarter and time and time again has come up short when the games on the line.

  2. Great article. I, too, have given up on LeBron James. I supported him, only to watch him for the past 3 years willingly disappear in the playoffs when it mattered most. I thought his demeanor would totally change when he teamed up with his pals Wade and Bosh in a new city and new environment. He's not changed at all. Then he has the nerve to come up with excuses? I'm beginning to think LeBron, for all these years, has been an overhyped fraud with a self-entitlement problem.

  3. anonymous #1 - you can look up the stats , Kevin Durant is the best 4th quarter player in the NBA. Every aspect of his game is better in the fourth.
Here is an example from an article about him in the NBA playofs so far. Per 36 fourth-quarter minutes, he averages 42.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and shoots a whopping 68 percent from the field, and his effective field-goal percentage is 85.4 percent

The only guy on your list that is close to him is Rose.

Anonymous #2 - Thank You, and i completely agree , and then did you see also what he said in the post game conference, basically he said he is better than everyone else in the world, we all have problems and he doesn't, what an idiot
