Bucco Fever! The Pittsburgh Pirates America's Sweethearts!

Now the only thing I know about this guy is he goes by "Pittsburgh Sean" and appratently he is a big Pittsburgh sports fan. Check out the video above and check out his youtube channel lol.

John Kruk has a video on ESPN.com in which he pretends to be a Pirate's fan. It's awesome. He flips out. Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLnbdaUPGAM Watch it and then imagine John Kruk doing a line of coke right before they shoot this.

ESPN is also all over the Pittsburgh Pirates right now. As awesome as it is, it's mainly due to the fact that they are having the Pirates on ESPN Baseball next Monday night, when the Atlanta Braves host the Pirates.

So do you have "Bucco Fever"? Are you excited about these Pirates? Or are you excited just because everyone else is? Do you actually like baseball? Have you watched the Pirates before this year? I hope so.

If not I can't be mad at you totally. The organization was not committed to winning in the past. Fans were wasting their money supporting a team that was not committed to winning. I mean I hated Bob Nutting with a passion. I was very upset and said bad things about the Pirates. At one point I just wanted them to be bad, really bad. I figured if they were gonna suck year in and year out, they might as well be the worst team of all-time.

Just like when Sidney Crosby came to the Penguins and they started to be successful, we saw "Pens fans" come out of nowhere. Mellon Arena went from being half-empty every night to having 500 college students camping outside of it. Fast forward five years and the Penguins and the city of Pittsburgh have a brand new state of the art arena.

Now the Pirates don't need a new stadium, they have one of the best stadiums in America, but they do need more $$$$$$$$$$. If the Pirates can sellout PNC Park consistently, they will be able to put more money into the payroll. They will then be able to keep more of their better players, and possibly bring in some decent free-agents.

This is why you can't hate bandwagon fans, they spend money. They're the ones that will buy the full priced jerseys and take the entire family to the ballpark spending about a 100 bucks. If you really love the Pittsburgh Pirates then you should want more people to support the team. You know you're a real fan, why do you have to convince anybody of that. I hand fairweather fans too, but there's nothing you can about them.

Just enjoy the fact that Pittsburgh is once again excited about this baseball team. I was 5 years old the last time this team was a contender. I'm 23 now. Screw the bandwagon fans, just worry about your baseball team.

Lets Go Bucs!

Speaking of bandwagon fans where the hell has Michael Keaton been? He's supposed to be this big Pirate's fan, but I haven't seen him at one game this year!
