Pirates Swept by Indians. Time to Panic?

Well the Pittsburgh Pirates were two games over .500 in the middle of June, that much is true. You can't take that away. That being said, the Pirates just got swept in a very important series against the Clevleand Indians. Before the series started, the Pirates were just three games out of first place and were in fifth place in the Wild Card standings.

Now the Buccos are in under .500, four games back in the division, and have six teams in front of them in the Wild Card standings.
I'm now interested in seeing how the Pirates will respond from this. This was a big series with a team that was in about the same position. Again, I still expect the Pirates to finish about five to seven games under .500 this year, but I'm rooting for them big time. I just don't think they have enough offense this year.

Now after being swept by the Indians, I'm interested in seeing how the fans and players react. There's really no time to think as the Pirates host the Baltimore Oriels in a three game home-stand at PNC Park, followed by a series with the Boston Red Sox this weekend, also at PNC Park.

Is this the implosion of the Pirates? Is this where the season takes a nasty turn? I hope not but I wouldn't be surprised.
