Hines Ward Arrested for D.U.I.
Hines Ward is a phony! I told all of you all along that this guy is bad news. Everyone likes to think of Ward as a good guy, a lovable guy, a family man if you will. You see that big smile and you get butterflies in your stomachs because "Hines is adorable". Ward plays the game right, Hines is the ultimate teammate is all I heard.
Lies all Lies! TMZ.com is reporting that Hines Ward was arrested for a D.U.I. around 3 A.M. Friday morning in Georgia. They even have his mug shot up on the site! This story has been confirmed since then. So what does this mean? It means that Hines should have to pay a hefty fine by the NFL, but he won't because "Hines is a good guy".
This means that the fans should be very disappointed and angry with Hines but they won't. If it were Ben Roethlisberger number 7 jerseys would burn on Grant Street. If it were Ben Roethlisberger yinz would want him out of here. Not Hines! I'm already hearing the apologists or sheep if you will say "Well it's only his first one" and "at least it's not rape".
Yo, you people are brainwashed. Hines is a pretentious douche. You think Roethlisberger's arrogant? Hine's ego is twice what Ben's is. Ward thinks he can do no wrong and only thinks of himself. Ever heard one of his interviews after a game? He'll give himself all kinds of props saying that he plays with a chip on his shoulder and that he works hard and blah blah. That's not a leader. Listen to a Roethlisberger press conference after the game. He gives his offensive line props even though they suck. He gives his receivers the credit even when they drop the ball or run a wrong route.
Ward gets up laughing after a dropped pass or after he fumbles. I'd like to smack that fake ass smile off his face. Ward thinks for himself always trying to cheat and get big hits so he can get noticed. Not only does Ward just talk about himself all the time he throws teammates under the bus on national television! Douche!
Now Ward is in real legal trouble. He's been arrested. Roethlisberger's never been arrested but Hines has. So what are yinz going to do? You going to defend him? You going to sweep this one under the rug just like you did when James Harrison beat his wife up? You people make me sick. Hines Ward is a phony. Always has been and always will be.
Yesterday Ward even tweeted that he has a bad habit of texting while driving, maybe he should have said drinking and driving. Isn't Ward a little too old for all of this? Isn't he supposed to be this great leader and role model? "Hey kids drink and drive and text and drive and call your teammates on out national t.v." What a douche.
Even now people are saying that I'm juding Hines and saying that I always give Ben Roethlisberger a pass. In case you haven't noticed only one of them has ever been arrested and that's Mr.Perfect Curt Henning, I mean Hines Ward.
Hey Hines, you’re rich and famous in your home state of Georgia.Get someone to drive you home. That way everyone is safe, you don’t disgrace Steeler nation, and you help the economy out. Oh wait, I forgot you’re nothing but a pretentious douche and a phony!

No one is going to take you seriously. Especially if you can't find a better word that yinz. Seriously Dude? He is a great guy. I'm disappointed by his decision. I expect that he will man up and take responsibility, as he should.
ReplyDeletecongrats, bro. you made a screamer moan. you were incredibly underwhelming. you must be proud.
ReplyDelete1) people bash Ben because he has done so many stupid things.
2) while Hines is not the great guy the kat above referred to him as, he is when you compare him to the persona Ben has created for himself over the years.
If you people are going to insult mad chad at least have the balls to put your name with your post. Your all spineless worms. Now to the article. I agree with chad on this one. What was he doin driving anyways. Its not like he couldn't afford a cab.
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you...No other player gets more criticism then Ben. People won't even care or will forget quickly what Hines did.
ReplyDeleteDid I miss the memo? When did getting a DUI make a person the next Hitler? Hines showed horrible decision making here, but that doesn't make him a monster. Did he pilot his car through a school bus stop at six a.m. or run over a elderly man laughing nefariously all the while? No. He drank, got his keys, thought he could make it home, and got caught. This isn't a reflection of his personality. Its proof that he's human. Have any of yins made a bad choice before? And if talking yourself up is egoistical, than morally arrest 97% of all professional athletes. There is no call for this.
ReplyDeleteFirst off this isn't an article this is a blog post. Me using "yinz" adds character to the story, I wouldn't use yinz in an actual article.
ReplyDeleteSecondly getting a DUI doesn't make him Hitler, but at his age and with his persona, it makes him look really bad. He's supposed to be a leader, a good Samaritan, a role model. Now this is two run ins with the cops in two months and one of those times he got arrested.
As for this being unprofessional, it's a blog. It's a blog post not an article.
I'm sorry but this post is actually a really entertaining read. I like Mad Chad. Not the greatest writer but tells it like it is.
