Sunday night against the New York Jets, Romo did what he does best, and that's find a way to lose a game. The Cowboys were up by double-digits entering the fourth quarter, and Romo was having a great game against a good New York Jets' defense.
Romo was 20 for 28 with 309 passing yards and two touchdowns through the third quarters of play, which is just down right impressive. However, it all fell apart in the fourth quarter.
First, Romo fumbled the ball diving for the goaline, giving the Jets the ball.
The next Cowboy's possession they had a punt blocked and returned for a game-tying touchdown. Tie game with about a minute left and Romo turns into "Oh-No". Throws a horrid interception to Darrelle Revis, giving the Jets the ball in good field position. The Jets went on to win the game.

Romo lost the game. I hardly ever blame one player and/or one play for a loss, but Romo lost the game. Wasn't his fault the Jets blocked that punt, but that punt might not matter had Romo not fumbled on his attempted run.
At this point it's very fair to label Romo a choke-artist. He's a very talented quarterback that crumbles under pressure.
If it were any other quarterback, you could say it's just one game and give him the benefit of the doubt. Not with Romo you can't. Romo has done this before, far too many times. Being clutch is a real thing, some guys really have that special ability to rise to the occasion and win the close ones. Romo just isn't one of those guys.
If this were just a few times that Romo has done this it wouldn't be a big deal, but Romo has come up short in big spots over and over again. I can't imagine him trying to driver a team down in a close game in the Super Bowl.
Until he proves people wrong, Romo is and should be labeled a choke-artist.
By the way LeBron James was at the game last night cheering for the Cowboys. How fitting, not only do the Cowboys have a choke-artist as a quarterback, they got "The real Mr. Anti-Clutch" LeBron James cheering them on..
