Battle for the 6th defensemen spot :
I thought Ben Lovejoy was a lock to make the top six defensemen on the Pittsburgh Penguins. Deryk Engelland is hanging in there and he will get a solid chance. However, another young defensemen has been raising some eyebrows at training camp, he's none other then Corey Potter. Potter has reportedly impressed the fans and coaches with his intensity and physical play. Potter played in the AHL last year.
Eric Tangradi was skating with Evgeni Malkin and Mike Comrie. Expectations are certainly high for Tangradi, and playing him with those two will only raise the expectations.
