At the Mike Tomlin press conference, Tomlin said that Charlie Batch had "the poll position" for the starting job this week at quarterback. Not a total surprise being that Batch might be the only option.
However, if Byron Leftwich is healthy, you have to think that he is the best option. He did practice with the 1st team offense the entire offseason.
