Vancouver fans Embarass Their City, Their Country, and the Sport of Hockey
Tim Thomas wasn't the only thing that "wowed" me during these Stanley Cup Finals. Vancouver fans showed just how classy they are. Vancouver fans went nuts and started a riot in the city of Vancouver after the Canucks lost to the Boston Bruins 4-0.
Now as a Pittsburgh fan I've seen my city have drunk bastards running around destroying property, even a few burning couches, but nothing like this. These people were going off their rockers! I'm from Pittsburgh; I’m used to fans being overly passionate about their teams. I'm used to really drunk, moronic Steeler fans. But this definitely tops anything Pittsburgh fans have ever done.
Canuck's fans took it to a whole different level of stupidity. I will say this; most of these people aren't really fans. They're the people that can't afford tickets, only follow the team because they're good, and just decided to go out and trash the city because it's the cool thing to do.
Had Vancouver won the damn Cup, the city might not be here today. I would like to say that I'm appalled at the fact that the fans in the arena were booing, and booed hockey legend Mark Recchi. Recchi is a class act and does not deserve to get booed.
If these people do love hockey then they should be ashamed of themselves. America and even ESPN were talking about hockey all morning. Too bad it was about you drunk ass Canadiens making fools of yourselves. Now America and ESPN gets to say, "look at hockey fans". You people are a disgrace. I'm glad the Canucks choked. I'm glad I was right about Roberto Luongo.
Suck it Canada. Suck it Luongo. Suck it Green Men. Suck it Vancouver!

I'm a Canadian and I agree with the spirit of the post, most of those "fans" weren't really fans and were instead just looking for a reason to cause trouble. Looks bad on Vancouver
