Around the NFL With Mad Chad

So the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals, we all saw that. Besides that we had a bunch of other interesting story lines around the league yesterday.

Qb Jesus aka Tim Tebow wins in his fourth career start. Tebow played like crap for the first 3.666 quarters of the game and the Denver Broncos trailed 15-0 in the fourth quarter when Tebow lead the Broncos to a come from behind victory scoring two touchdowns. Tebow is now 2-2 as a starter. Cam Newton is 2-5 as a starter. I'd argue that Newton has a better team around him than Tebow.

Even better from the Dolphins-Broncos game came this little gem. Greg Gumbel calls out the "Hulkster" Hulk Hogan, questioning his relevance. Whatcha gona do brother when Greg Gumbel calls out you!

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers continued to their winning ways defeating the Minnesota Vikings in close game. Rodgers is running away with the NFL MVP award right now. He's a rabbit in a turtle race. Charles Woodson is old but is still a beast and leads the league in interceptions.

Adrian Peterson leads the league in rushing yards and Jared Allen leads the league in sacks. Got to feel bad for those two.

The New Orleans Saints defeated the Indianapolis Colts 62-7 on Sunday Night Football. Reread that sentence. I'm glad I didn't watch Sunday Night Football. Drew Brees had more touchdown passes (5) than incomplete passes (4). Some dude named Jed Stevens ran a touchdown for the Saints. At this point the Colts have more problems than not having Peyton Manning.

Carson Palmer's debut for the Oakland Raiders was delayed and Kyle "I should have been a bowler" Boller started for the Raiders. Boller threw 3 picks in the first half, including a pick-six. Palmer then relieved Bolller of his duties only to throw 3 picks, including a pick-six, himself.

The Cleveland Browns beat the Seattle Seahawks 6-3.

The Rams got blown out by the Dallas Cowboys 34-7 thanks to rookie DeMarco Murray running for 253 yards.

The New York Jets defeated the San Diego Chargers 27-21 thanks to 3 td catches by Plaxico Burress and 2 interceptions by Philip Rivers. Rivers has 7 picks and 9 interceptions on the season. Why is he considered elite again?

Those are the top headlines around the league.
