Pens Beat Flyers, Acquire Brenden Morrow.

What a great time to be a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pens have now won 12 games in a row, are in first place in their division and their conference, and they just acquired Brenden Morrow from the Dallas Stars.

The Pens beat the Philadelphia Flyers last night 2-1, with Tyler Kennedy of all people scoring the game-winning goal. Who in the Hell saw that happen? Maybe it was the Karma train bitch slapping the shit out of Philly for the bitch ass hit that Brandon Cobourn put on Pascal Dupuis towards the end of the game. I still can't believe there was no penalty called on the play but hopefully that douchebag gets suspended.

TK now has eight points on the season in 32 games with three points in his last four games. Maybe his trade value has gone up. I doubt that very much though. Realistically the Pens could move TK to the 4th line when Brenden Morrow makes his debut and Evgeni Malkin comes back. Get Tanner Glass's useless ass the hell out of the lineup.

Sidney Crosby is the greatest hockey player on the planet. I can't even believe people even have the balls or lack of brain cells to dispute that. It's a fact, it's not even opinion at this point. Crosby is running away with the scoring title. The goal he scored against the Flyers last night was so clutch, so epic. Look how bad Flyer's fans hate him for being so good.

I'm going to write a full post about the Morrow trade, but I'll let you know now that I'm fully on board with the trade. Ray Shero hasn't really been wrong too often and his misses really haven't hurt the franchise. Morrow is going to be really good as a Penguin.

Speaking of acquisitions, Mark Eaton has been really good since returning to the Pens. I did not expect him to play this well. He played 20 minutes last night and the Pen's streak started when Shero brought him back. Just saying, #UNDEFEATON

The Pen's 12-game winning streak is super impressive considering that they've been without Evgeni Malkin for most of it, Kris Letang for some of it, and the fact that they have trailed at one point in nine of the twelve games. Unreal. Even though I've been critical of head coach Dan Bylsma, I have to admit that he has done an incredible job with this team. We're going streaking. Montreal Tuesday night, Lets go Pens!
