15 in a row for Pens.

15 wins in row for the Pittsburgh Penguins. This is f*cking fun. For one, based on last night I didn't even think or know that Jarome Iginla was going to play today. Then I saw him in warm-ups wearing that dark blue Winter Classic jersey. My blood pressure went up sky high.

Pens had a really slow start to this game until Brooks Orpik ruined the party by shooting Sidney Crosby's face off. Crosby left the game and did not return, reports are that he needed oral surgery. Can't even imagine how big his lips look right now. On the plus side, Crosby can now say he's even better at missing teeth than Alexander Ovechkin.

What a game by Matt Cooke! He was everywhere, hitting people, epic penalty-killing, then scored the game-winning goal. Eugene Melynk will probably have a stroke when he sees these highlights. Melynk is currently doing a forensic study to prove that Cooke is a terminator built from Skynet.

Douglas Murray had an assist today and he and Mark Eaton were terrific on defense, along with Simon Despres. How great has that Eaton pickup been. How in the hell did Eaton not get picked up by another team? Shero'd!

Tomas Vokoun was amazing yet again. Pens now have have three straight shutouts as a team, with Fleury playing two of the nine combined periods. Vokoun and Fleury are a combined 15-0 in this streak, with Fleury winning eight games and Vokoun winning seven. Unreal. I do not think goaltending is the problem. Vokoun is probably the best backup in the league and is just excited to be on a team this good for the first time in his life. I think he also helps keep Fleury focused. Great problem to have.

Chris Kunitz had to leave the game on a bullshit call when hit Josh Bailey into the boards. Kunitz got a game misconduct and a five minute penalty. Bailey had to leave the game with a injury.

Overall great performance from top to bottom. Even Tanner Glass had a good game. Pens have shown so much leadership and grit lately. Once all of their big time scorers (Iginla, Malkin, Neal, Crosby) get going, and if this team can ever be fully healthy, watch the F*ck out. Tuesday night the Pens will troll Ryan Miller. Hopefully Crosby comes back wearing the Bane mask.

Oh by the way, the Pens need two more wins to tie all-time record, which the 92-93 Pittsburgh Penguins hold. Pens are also the first team to ever go through an entire month undefeated while playing a minimum of 10 games. Unreal.

Cup or die! Lets go Pens!
